[JTR 7-04]
Soom T - Flying High /
Mungo's Hifi version

04. May

Finally out and waiting to rock your collection is THIS cute
little 7" by Glasgow legend SOOM T. Being the third bomb in our
fine MAFFI series, "Flying High" is another puffing tune with a
killer bass melody, grinding synth, thumping beats - and it badly
wants to wreck your system.

To complete THIS neat Glasgow special MUNGO'S HIFI are tearing it
down on B. Have a mic ready for your MC, or freak out stand-alone.

The matrix broke while pressing this 7", so no re-pressing possible!
Better be quick to grab a copy, since most are already gone. Again.

05.03.

Fresh out is our free JTREP06, a deep and hissing beauty called
"COMPURIDDIMS EP" by Tapes! That's what happens when 60s library
music clashes properly Dubwise with skanking subs, hi-current
powered drummachines and a heap of MAX-MSP madness. The result
will simply make your ghettoblaster weep with joy...

This release will also be available on a strictly limited CASSETTE
edition - yeah!! And: along with the EP there's more fun on the B-
Side - a Dub FX library for your own sample pleasure! The breath-
taking cover was done by Jimmy Cauty, who also created the
unbeatable artwork for the latest disrupt 7", LP and CD. Better
be QUICK - only 50 copies!!

Mikey Murka live @
Transmediale 09

22.02.

new up in our PICS/ELSE section: some wicked live videos with
Mikey Murka and disrupt performing at the recent Transmediale
festival, at Club Maria in Berlin. That was a magic night, with
awesome live sets by the Clouds, Mungo's Hifi, Clause Four and
Piece Of Sh... (thanks for the laptop power supply, Goran! You
saved my ass!).

And let's not forget the fine party at the Zoro in Leipzig the
night after that! We should do this more often.

new disrupt LP!

19.02.2009

Out now on vinyl LP and CD is the long awaited sequel to the WERK
album "Foundation Bit" - THE BASS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING !

This new epic voyage by Disrupt is pushing the genre boundaries of
8Bit-ChipHop, roots Dub and old-school gaming soundtracks into
one big swirling Black Hole of low end mayhem. Raw, ultra-shuffling
drum machine action and re-wired skanks create the gateway for a
mind bending reference network of retro-SciFi movies, gaming
classics and Dub soundscapes in infinite loop mode.

disrupt album -

The limited LP edition comes with gorgeous fold-out bass artwork
by Jimmy Cauty and is simply a MUST on the shelf, in case you want
to impress some guests in your home!

The CD version of the album also contains the two killah tracks
"Berzerk Dub" and "Echobombing" from the recent JTR7-03 limited
seven inch (which is already sold out and gone).

Yes I, it's 2009!

16.01.2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome to 2009! We hope you had a smooth entry
are ready for all the nice things to come!

We're starting out with a mighty boom and a fistful of ye good ol'
vinyls: dig the new disrupt-7", the fresh Maffi-7" with Solo Banton
and finally the release of our long-lost classic, the Bo Marley vs.
disrupt album
!

Disrupt is back on the joysticks and having another go on the
subbass highscore with two fresh robo-skanking low-end belters.
Berzerk Dub on A is a raw Elektro-Dub-piece well in the 80s spirit,
whie Echobombing on B is self-explaining: an ultra-heavy bass, that
will bomb any floor, is riding a HipHop beatbox and some rough 8bit-
skanks.

This 7" is strictly limited and comes with awesome sleeve artwork by
Jimmy Cauty (LC). Be quick and bend your ear over HERE!

The second cut in our Maffi-7" is pure floor dynamite and probably
THE Jahtari killah tune of them all so far: "Talk To Me " by MC and
sound man veteran Solo Banton, hailing from the Realityshock Crew
outta Reading / UK. Ultra-raw bassline, in-your-face drummachine
beats and Solo's massive vocal action on top will make this an
alltime fave in your record box for sure.

Haul and pull up right HERE!

Finally out fe real: the 18-track Bo Marley vs. disrupt masterpiece!
A concept album filled up to its plastic rim with the craziest hit
tunes, puzzling fun lyrics, Space Echo madness, overheated analog
gear basslines, AMIGA tracker niceness and flashing, detail-packed
dub from beginning till end.

Check the full fun and grab a copy over HERE. "Macht euch bereit!"
