Slim Levy is a multi faceted artist. Initially a professional bassist, he fell in love with the golden age of Jamaican music of the 60s and 70s after a formative tour alongside the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry.

In 2020 he launched his career as a producer. At his home studio in Strasbourg / France he keeps exploring the magic of imperfection, always on the search for sound artifacts, to shape his distinct sound. He released the albums “Give Me That Cheese” and “Cooking Sessions 1 & 2” alongside Tribuman on Bat Records.

On stage, he shares his passion for reggae and organic dub with the audience with self-deprecating humor. Get your Walkmans and neon tracksuits ready, Slim Levy is coming to your town soon!
