Somewhere between nostalgia, melancholy and a longing for a future already past hover these 14 tracks in an oddly suspended state: Drowned in dreamy reverbs, in front of backdrops of lush soundwaves and at the same time moody, vulnerable and deeply rooted in experimentation and noise.
Gregor Dys is a sound researcher who explores soundscapes for (natural) processes, ideas and emotions. Experiments with guitar, modular synthesizer, other acoustic instruments and the resulting break in listening habits as well as collaborations with other musicians and photo and video art form a basis for his acoustic storytelling.
