[ WERK CD004 ] disrupt - Foundation Bit
Finally out with our friends of the excellent WERK DISCS label from London is the "FOUNDATION BIT"
album by disrupt on CD. It features 10 tracks, most of them older Jahtari classics in re-worked and
improved versions (mainly from "Roots Matrix", "Jah Bit Invasion" and loads of NET-7"s) plus two
new and previously unreleased tracks, "True Creators" and "Selassi I Continually". "Selassi I" comes
in a very different, more rootsy version here than on our previous "Jahtarian Dubbers" compilation.
In the end a mighty fine mix that presents an highly entertaining and diverse retrospective of the
Jahtari sound so far as well gives an outlook of what's to come in the future. All mastered for
maximum, speaker-shaking Dubness by Duplate + Mastering Berlin, by the way.
