First the new hissing masterpiece EP by Tapes, which already ranks
number 1 in the Radiohead November faves! Wow. This one's magically
clashing 80s digital dancehall, ultra-wonky beats and 60s Library
music aesthetics. All tracks have been faithfully mastered to
cassette and back again, so better switch off that dibby-dibby
noise reduction and turn the amp up into the red before you set
off on a journey that will reel your mind and shake your booty
over HERE.

And secondly a ruff and tuff 12 by Soom T, our Glasgow Jedi MC of
the first order, containing some of our alltime faves which tore
down the place during live gigs countless times. Soom is drawing
the pink light sabre here and is dropping the title tune "Dirty
Money" with such an irresistible force that will blast every
imperial stormtrooper out of the boots. More in-yer-face wisdom,

Rough and fresh vocal cut by Wheeler on the so-called "Turtle
Riddim" by the Maffi homeboys, better known from our first Maffi-7"
(Mikey Murka's long gone "Downpressor Man"). Recorded with most
minimum equipment and in a 100% yardstyle fashion in Swallofield,
Kingston, by Selectah Easy T Jam from Esperanza sound during his
stay in Jamaica, the rough and unforgettable "Breeze Blow" comes
hi-charged with good vibes and nuff green to haunt you for weeks.

new up in our PICS/ELSE section: some wicked live videos with
Mikey Murka and disrupt performing at the recent Transmediale
festival, at Club Maria in Berlin. That was a magic night, with
awesome live sets by the Clouds, Mungo's Hifi, Clause Four and
Piece Of Sh... (thanks for the laptop power supply, Goran! You
saved my ass!).

And let's not forget the fine party at the Zoro in Leipzig the
night after that! We should do this more often.

Out now on vinyl LP and CD is the long awaited sequel to the WERK
