If you're in London this weekend make sure to check this year's
NETAUDIO 2008 festival, going down at The Shunt, in the arches
underneath London bridge. Apart from lots of other goodness
there'll be a disrupt live set on Saturday, with MC wizard Solo
Banton on the mic. All taking place within the amazing Handbaked
Arcade setup - so you can play old-school SEGA games while skanking
to the heavy Jahtari bass!

If you're in Glasgow: absolutely don't miss the night this Friday
at the Art School with Soom T on the mic, disrupt on the joystick
and the bass coming out of the deadly Mungos Hifi sub blasters!

Check this very funny - and also very enlightening - video about
Arbeit 2.0 ("Work 2.0"). Digging into new forms of creative but
non-secure work, far away from the good old 8-to-5-concept. Starting
a new, regular vodcast series the film by Matthias Spielkamp
illustrates what Holm Friebe and Sascha Lobo called "digital Boheme"
in their book "Wir nennen es Arbeit" ("We Call It Work"). And what
Mercedes Bunz called "urban bums". Well, that's us allright.

So you can get bored HERE while disrupt rumbles on about all that

Finally out on lovely 12": the much requested dynamite subbass
killah called "Elders" by the Clouds! Sick Ras Amerlock version on
A2. Jahtari roots dude Rootah overheats his tubes on the B1 version
while Wadadda is killing it definitely on B2 with his Elders Dubstep
refix.

mad Fusion festival, June 28th, with Instruktah D and Bankil on the

City. What you hear now is the result of when analogue gear pushed
to its limits clashes with a sensi-circuit-bent Laptop. Special
7"-vinyl edits, expertly mastered and pressed to the black goodness,

Seven months after releasing disrupt's "Foundation Bit" album on CD
our friends from the excellent WERK DISCS label put one on top and
just got out a beautiful 12" vinyl version of "probably the most
talked-about BASS transmission of recent months" (Boomkat).

by the Jahtari Riddim Force who team up here with Unity soundsystem
veteran Mikey Murka. The release comes on a beautiful double 10",
one produced by old-school-digi-dubbist disrupt and the other one by
the Jahtarian tape delay master Rootah.

Both have a go on wrapping up Mikey's vocal niceness with their own
unique readings of electro cuted Dub. All that fits so well and
seamlessly together like Ganja in a pipe so be prepared for loads
of echo action, lit up with some of the most soulful and tongue-in-
