Fourth instalment in the crucial Jahtarian Dubbers series that will run your walkman batteries empty in no time.

Delay experts from all five continents filled this hissy reel with psychedelic dubs, soundsystem grenades and everything inbetween: from Australia to London, from Canada to Shanghai, from South Africa to Scotland – the musical compass always points towards deepness.

All tunes have been baked together at the Jahtari HQ for maximum goodness and to include some extra echos from the future. So don’t miss out on this interplanetary cassette – limited pressing as always!

The second 7inch in the Jahtari floppy disc series sees the return of Monkey Marc from the red sands of the Australian outback to his solar powered studio inside a shipping container on a Melbourne junkyard.

Cooked up between old school samplers, obscure synths and tape delays the cuts on this double-sided disc come right from the edge of an abysmal echo chamber: cavernous reverbs, the extra-lush keys from an Emulator III and Monkey Marc’s huge MPC 3000 sound that’s entirely his own.

Limited to 300 copies!

Also keep an eye out for Monkey Marc’s other projects, like his JA produced smasher “No Surrender“, his upcoming album with UK mic legend YT, or past classics like his “Planet Smashers” EP on Jahtari from 2014 and his track for Roots Manuva’s 4everrevolution album, “Who Goes There“.

Coming straight from a solar powered shipping container in Australia is this heavy twelve by Melbourne’s number one sampling warrior Monkey Marc, who’s mashing up Hip Hop and Dub inna down under style like no other. With the analogue filter modules in constant overdrive mode, a groove not found on any map and a bass too deep to measure, this rugged masterpiece develops a complete life of it’s own. All faithfully recorded to cassette and then dubbed out to the max by disrupt – including a dub of Roots Manuva‘s “Who Goes There” (from his 4everevolution LP).

The tape heads of the Jahtari echo machines have been finetuned, the reverb modules are rewired, the bass implant is set to maximum blast and now the third episode of our ongoing series called “Jahtarian Dubbers” is ready to rock your walkman for a long time to come.

Mikey Murka went up to the dancehall again, John Frum is back with a hauntingly beautiful dub, Maffi team up with Ranking Levy from MyLord Sound while the Jahtari Riddim Force is on the loose, El Fata rinses Tapes‘ smashing “Gold Love Riddim”, disrupt dug out a forgotten treasure from the vault and Rootah runs his tube delays into the red zone.

Wearing the black belt for beatmaking and new in the Jahtari camp is Monkey Marc (who supplied a wicked instrumental to the last Roots Manuva album). Our favourite sound system champions Mungo’s Hifi are about to blow your speakers alongside veteran Jim Nastics, plus there’s a very special Rootah version of a Dub Syndicate / Adrian Sherwood classic – with Lee Perry (!) on the mic, lazergun in hand, straightjacket and all. So better pack enough supplies for an interstellar trip – this one might take a while.
